The wireless home theater system is the greatest thing since the development of the home theater system itself. With wires and cables layered in the back of the media center, and running throughout the room while connecting all the speakers - wireless is the only way to go. Some of the new Magnolia lines in Best Buy stores have new speakers that are built directly in the walls or ceilings, which is one way to get rid of the lines and cords all over the floor.

Sony and Panasonic both have two good wireless systems available, but reviewers say that Digital Sound Projector by Yamaha is better. It has an amp and a multiple speaker system with an excellent

surround sound, with the ability to add a microphone to set up the room automatically. Another system is the RCA wireless home theater system. The DVD player that hooks into the television is the main control unit. With a normal center and side speakers around the television, the subwoofer duals as a transmitter for the wireless rear speakers. Once the receiver is plugged into the opposite side of the room, the two rear speakers separately plug into the receiver.

A Trip Down Memory Lane - Sony Walkman to Apple Ipod

There may be some of you reading this, that can remember something called a Sony Walkman. Now if you are not old enough, just ask your parents or even an older brother or sister. What you will see is this kind of smile come over their faces. Boy, does time fly and technology go even faster.

You see, if you lived back in the 1980’s, the Sony Walkman was the coolest thing on the planet. Now if you did live back then, you probably owned one of these. This product was the rave. This product was everywhere, in the airports, the malls, on buses, everywhere. You would see

the kids in the back seat of the family car, listening to their own thing, using the Sony Walkman. Their parents would be listening to something else (Dean Martin or Perry Como), which the kids hated.

Installing the home theater system scares some people to death with just the thought of it. But we need to remember the best system in the world is only half as good as the set-up. Once we open the box, we are in it for the count - installation that we are preparing to do can provide us with the highest quality results, but only if it is done right. But, can we do the work ourself? Some “real good” projects have been done when a floor plan is drawn-out on grid paper, with small pieces of paper representing each piece of furniture. It works better than putting our back out because of moving the whole system across the

floor half a dozen times.
